Angie Craig is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on February 14, 1972 in West Helena, United States. Craig is a native of West Helena, Arkansas, in the year 1972. Craig graduated in 1972 from Nettleton High School located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in journalism at Memphis University. University of Memphis.
Craig wanted to face Lewis in the 2018 election. In the year 2016, Craig did not face opposition in her Democratic primary. She beat Lewis and became the first openly gay mother elected to Congress and the first woman elected to Minnesota’s 2nd district and being the only openly lesbian person to be chosen in Congress out of Minnesota. Craig got 52.6 percent of the vote and won three of the six counties within the district.
When she took office in January 2019, she became the first Democrat to represent the 2nd since it assumed its current configuration as a south suburban district in 2003.
In the 2016 election, Craig ran for the United States House of Representatives in the 2nd district of the Minnesota congressional district . She announced her candidacy prior to when Republican incumbent John Kline announced his retirement. She did not face opposition during the Democratic primary. The general elections, however, saw her was up against the former talk show host from the conservative party Jason Lewis. She lost less than 7000 votes.

The state of Minnesota is home to her United States Representative from Minnesota’s 2nd congressional district , and has beat the incumbent Republican Jason Lewis in the 2018 elections.
